Why is the online shop called Good to Play?
Toys that are good for children, good for the environment and good to play with. At Good to Play, we have a passion for providing children with a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow and develop through play. We believe that play is such an important part of every childhood and we associate play with good quality toys, hence the name Good to Play for our online retail store.

Yes. Good to Play is proudly Australian owned and operated. Good to Play is based in Newcastle, New South Wales.
How do I pay for my order?
Good to Play accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal for all online orders. The Good to Play ecommerce system uses Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL) to ensure your shopping experience is safe and secure. After you make the payment for your order, you will receive a transaction confirmation email, which confirms receipt of your order. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST. We reserve the right to vary the prices displayed on the Good to Play website from time to time and without notice to you.
Payment Security
The Good to Play website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology which creates a secure transaction environment on the Internet. A strong highly secure 256-bit encryption environment. Good to Play use a GeoTrust Digital Security Certificate for our SSL connection to protect your information from unauthorised use.
How does my order ship?
Good to Play uses Australia Post and other trusted couriers to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your order. In some instances, larger/heavier items (parcels typically over 5kgs) will be dispatched via a courier company. Please note that as the courier services are road delivery services, deliveries may take a little longer to arrive. From time to time, Good to Play send orders in shipping boxes that have been used before. We ensure that the used boxes are strong and sturdy and protect your products. This is an environmental initiative and we feel it is better to reuse boxes where we can.
How much is delivery?
For orders with a total value of less than $100, shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
FREE shipping for orders with a total value of more than $100*.
* Additional freight charges may be incurred for large or heavy items and deliveries to remote locations within Australia. These will be calculated at checkout.
An express post option is available with the express shipping rates calculated at checkout (only available for orders which do not contain Heavy Items). In most instances the Australia Post Express service will be used for this option, however, another carrier or courier company may be used for Sydney Metro locations or some locations that are outside of NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC. Please note that, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee next day delivery, however, we will ensure that your order will be dispatched as soon as possible from our warehouse in Newcastle which is usually same business day if the order is placed prior to 1pm.
Good to Play will only deliver orders to a valid registered address located within Australia (we will not deliver to addresses outside of Australia).

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) upon placing an online order. Please note, following public holidays, orders will be dispatched within 72 hours of placing an order. You will receive an order confirmation outlining your purchase. Orders typically take 2-5 business days to reach their Australian destination once they leave our Newcastle based Good to Play warehouse. The time to deliver the parcel will vary depending on your location relative to Newcastle, in line with standard Australia Post delivery times. Larger/heavier items that are dispatched via a Courier Service to regional or remote areas can take a little longer to arrive, as can parcels shipped to regional or remote locations.

How do I track my order? How long will it take for my order to arrive?
You will receive a dispatch email containing your order information and tracking website address. The dispatch email will contain a tracking number to track your order. You will be able to track your order through the Australia Post/courier online system.
Can the billing address be different from the mailing address?
Yes - at the online checkout page you have the option of including a separate billing address and delivery address. You must enter the correct delivery address and delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, Good to Play is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our own expense.
Can overseas buyers purchase from Good to Play?
Yes. However, at present, Good to Play only ships to delivery addresses within Australia.
Do you post internationally?
No. At present, Good to Play only ships to Australian addresses.
Gift Wrapping
We are very sorry to advise that currently we are unable to offer a gift wrapping service. We hope to reintroduce this service in the future and apologise for any inconvenience.
Redeeming a Good to Play Gift Card
To redeem a Good to Play Gift Card, you will need to create an account. Once you have created an account, go into your Account Dashboard and click on Gift Card. You will be prompted to enter your Gift Card code and then click the Redeem Gift Card button. Remember you can use your Good to Play Gift Card for future purchases.
Promotion Codes
If you have a Good to Play promotion code, you can apply this at the shopping bag page. All promotion codes have an expiration date, and if that date has passed, it is no longer valid. Please check the original email sent to you for the valid dates, or contact Good to Play at customerservice@goodtoplay.com
Do we offer a lay-by service?
No, Good to Play do not offer a lay-by service.
Can I subscribe to a Good to Play newsletter?
Yes. You can subscribe to the Good to Play newsletter by scrolling to the bottom of any page and entering your email address into the Subscriber box located there. There is also a link at the top of each page in red text which reads "Subscribe & Save 10%". You can also subscribe by clicking on this link and following prompts.
Missing item or wrong item sent?
In the unlikely event, please contact us at customerservice@goodtoplay.com and quote your order number. Good to Play will investigate accordingly.
Faulty Goods?
At Good to Play, we check our products before dispatch to make sure they are not damaged. We also take great care to wrap them carefully. If however, damage occurs during the delivery process please contact us at customerservice@goodtoplay.com and have your order number for identification. You must inform Good to Play within 7 days of receipt of the goods if a product is damaged or faulty. We will replace or refund any faulty products and pay for the return freight on receipt and inspection of the goods. Include a letter indicating the problem with the item, and supply a copy of the online delivery note, tax invoice or packing slip. Send an email to customerservice@goodtoplay.com to confirm the mailing address for returning the goods.
Exchange
If you are unhappy with your purchase from Good to Play, you can exchange any full priced product provided it is unopened and in perfect condition. You must contact us within 7 days of receipt of your delivery. Discounted items cannot be refunded or exchanged. Valid proof of purchase is required. All postage costs in relation to the exchange are the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure that all goods are packaged in a manner that will ensure that they are not damaged whilst in transit. Send an email to customerservice@goodtoplay.com to confirm the mailing address for returning the goods.
Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return the purchased item/s to us within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price (no refund on postage). You are responsible for the postage costs of returning the items to Good to Play. Returned items must be received in original, unopened condition and packaged such that transit damage does not occur. If goods are received in unsellable condition, then your return may not be processed. There are no returns or exchanges for sale or clearance items, or for custom made items. Send an email to customerservice@goodtoplay.com to confirm the mailing address for returning the goods.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for your return and refund request to be processed. Please note that refunds can only be issued to the original purchasing credit card or PayPal account.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order, provided that the order has not been dispatched by Good to Play. Please note that the majority of orders are dispatched within 24 hours of order placement. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods once you receive them. All postage costs in relation to the cancellation are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that the goods must be returned in the original, unopened, un-used saleable condition. Please note that refunds can only be issued to the original purchasing credit card or PayPal account.
